Spherical roller thrust bearings are like cylindrical roller thrust bearings but with self-aligning capability. Spherical thrust roller bearings have spherical raceway in the housing washer and asymmetrical rollers obliquely assembled around it. The rings and the housing washer can be separately mounted as well.

ITS spherical roller thrust bearings support very heavy axial loads and are also capable of taking moderate radial loads when an axial load is imposed.

ITS spherical thrust roller bearings are widely used in high-speed operations such as power plant air pre-heaters, coal pulverizes, hydroelectric generators and molding machines.
